Your Money and You

With funding through Multiply – a new £560 million Government programme delivered through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to help improve functional numeracy skills and transform the lives of adults across the UK, Actes are delighted to be delivering ‘Your Money and You’ – a short course aimed at helping people to build the necessary numeracy skills to budget and manage money effectively. The course covers the following topics:

• Using IT to set out personal budget (utilising numeracy skills)

• Introducing smartphone apps and websites that can help learners save money

• Using price comparison sites

• Conducting benefit calculations using online tools

• Computer and Internet basics

 

Who can it help?

Middlesbrough residents aged 19+ who have not previously attained a Level 2 or higher maths qualification.
